What is a PDF File?

for Portable Document Format. To view, navigate, and print a PDF
document, you need the freely available Acrobat Reader software from
Adobe Systems Inc. The Adobe Acrobat Reader software is available
for Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX systems at no charge. Many of our materials can best be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader 5 and higher. To install Adobe Acrobat Reader, go to http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/ and follow the steps listed to download the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader software. Once you have downloaded and installed the Acrobat Reader, refer to the on-line guide for full instructions on using the Reader. |
